Craft alone (simmilary to technique) seems meaningsless, but without it the longevity of any piece of work would be matter of a pure luck.
In order to assure predictable and consistent quality of my works from technical point of view, I find it both necessary and enriching to do all crucial processes involved in my paintings myself.
I enjoy the whole process of making a painting, from fabrication of panels including sizing and application of ground, through preparation of paint-medium with pure pigments to provide paints, to final varnishing and framing.
